美垃圾堆中驚見棄嬰 警尋生母

【綜合報導】美國紐澤西州1處垃圾集中處中昨天驚見1名男嬰，幸好及時送醫，保住小命。警方正在尋找狠心遺棄的母親。

男嬰被棄置的地點，是一座5層樓公寓大樓旁的垃圾集中處。住在附近的3名男孩當時正在門口庭院玩耍，聽到男嬰哭聲，還看到垃圾堆有動靜，便立刻衝進公寓通知大樓管理員理瓦斯（Arturo Rivas）。理瓦斯與太太查看赫然發現其中一個垃圾袋裡有活生生的男嬰，且臍帶還未脫落。他們趕緊報警。

男嬰被發現時，能自己呼吸。警方沒有透露，嬰兒已被遺棄多久。

理瓦斯太太指出，沒有印象他們所住的公寓大樓裡近期有誰懷孕，也不知道這一帶誰會把男嬰棄置在此。理瓦斯則說，他平時會趕走在庭院玩耍的小孩，幸好他們今天在此。
