達比修挨轟 遊騎兵明加賽搶外卡

日籍強投達比修有先發5.2局失2分，外帶8次三振，儘管表現無關勝敗，但靠著打線力挺，終場遊騎兵以6比2擊敗天使，明(10/1)將在主場和光芒進行加賽，拚最後一張外卡資格。

「他們展現決心，奮鬥以及拚勁！」遊騎兵總教練Ron Washington說。

美聯外卡局勢渾沌，不過，印地安人以5比1擊敗雙城後，確定以外卡身分晉級季後賽，遊騎兵和光芒則面臨只要輸球，就得打包回家的情況。

遊騎兵這場面對天使，派出三振王達比修先發上陣，但開賽不久就挨了Mike Trout一支陽春全壘打，陷入0比1的落後。

5局下，遊騎兵展開反擊，率先上場的A.J. Pierzynski擊出二壘長打，隨後Geovany Soto獲得四壞保送，一出局後，Craig Gentry擊出帶有2打點安打，將比數反超為2比1。

天使馬上在下個半局還以顏色，利用Josh Hamilton的安打將戰局追平，雙方來到2比2。

達比修這場比賽主投5.2局，被敲出4支安打，2保送、8三振，失2分都是責失分，內容不差，但無關勝敗。

6局下，Soto打回超前分，Ian Kinsler第7局也補上帶有打點安打，遊騎兵領先來到4比2，接著，Adrian Beltre和Soto在第8局雙雙開轟，幫助遊騎兵最後以6比2鎖定勝利。

遊騎兵拿下7連勝，光芒也以4比1擊敗白襪，雙方戰績同燈同分，必須進行加賽爭奪外卡資格，而這也是自2007年以來，再度進行外卡加賽。

遊騎兵打贏了這場關鍵戰役後，明(1日)天的加賽有機會將因違反禁藥規定，遭禁賽50場的Nelson Cruz加入先發行列，「我明天有機會和隊友一起作戰，打我最愛的棒球，他們很興奮，我也是。」
