需用怪手 土木工夥友幫忙偷

〔自由時報記者謝鳳秋／東勢報導〕工作需要怪手，竟找朋友用偷的！從事土木工程的劉嫌要用小怪手，找友人幫忙先偷載小怪手用的大貨車，再去偷小怪手，得手後藏放在鐵皮屋內，東勢警分局花一個多月時間循線偵破此案。

楊姓被害人於5月22日向警方報案，放在東坑路旁小怪手失竊，警方訪查發現劉嘉煒（34歲）疑涉有重嫌，卻行蹤不定；員警終於在6月21日遇到劉嫌，並當場在他的鐵皮屋內，發現被害人失竊的小怪手。但劉嫌否認行竊，辯稱友人陳順福（50歲）得知他想買小怪手，主動聯絡說要賣給他。

警員積極佈線，在7月3日追緝陳順福到案。陳嫌坦承，劉嫌從事土木工程需要小怪手工作，找他幫忙竊取；5月21日，兩人先於豐原區竊取大貨車及怪手用鋁梯，再於5月22日下午，由劉嫌駕駛大貨車載他至東勢區東坑路竊取小怪手，用大貨車把小怪手載到劉嫌鐵皮屋裡，得手後大貨車棄置在東勢區。
