英艦搞烏龍　射魚雷殺鯨

【綜合報導】根據最近曝光的資料，英國皇家海軍在31年前的福克蘭群島戰役中，擺了一個大烏龍，把3絛鯨魚當成敵方的潛艇，將牠們活活炸死。

當年誤殺鯨魚的，是反潛護衞艦光輝號（HMS Brilliant）。艦上其中一名船員的日記近日被公開，才令事件曝光。當時聲納系統誤將3條鯨魚當作是阿根廷的潛艇，於是發射2枚魚雷，將牠們擊沉，更派直升機對付第3艘「潛艇」，直至看見鯨魚的屍體，才知道擺了烏龍。

英國國防部回應表示，當年的聲納設備容易將潛艇同鯨魚混淆，但現代的設備已有改善。
