美議員挺台灣　致函菲國駐美大使

美國聯邦眾議員羅斯（Dennis Ross）挺台灣，今天致函菲律賓駐美大使，表示菲公務船攻擊沒有武裝的台灣漁船，造成船員洪石成死亡，有違反國際法之虞，呼籲兩國政府合作查明真相。

羅斯表示，菲國應進行徹底與即時調查，並賠償罹難者家屬以及和台灣簽署漁業協議。

駐美代表金溥聰對羅斯的仗義執言，表示感謝，羅斯為眾議院「國會台灣連線」成員，是台灣在國會的重要友人。
