台視主播林家琪與元大馬家二少馬維辰熱戀中，傳出當初牽線的正是馬維辰的母親杜麗莊。林家琪去年10月杜麗莊一起獻身做公益，林家琪脫下主播端莊光環，穿上點點裝，走可愛路線，扮孩子王和孩童同樂，擄獲準婆婆心。

根據《蘋果日報》報導，去年10月由元大文教基金會與紙風車劇團合辦的公益活動，林家琪是活動親善大使兼主持人，和杜麗莊有合照。林家琪日前也曾透露與馬家二老的關係很親密，透過他們的介紹，才認識男友馬維辰，似乎在當時已獲得準婆婆的心。

馬維辰過去曾和尹馨、柯佳青戀愛，傳因為杜麗莊反對，未能修成正果，而杜麗莊曾表示，兒媳婦必須要能讓兒子的家庭、個人和事業有「3贏」。報導指出林家琪之所以能打動婆婆心，傳除了準婆婆偏好主播，加上她政大畢業，精通英、俄、日語，待人有禮、個性乖巧善良，符合馬家媳婦的條件。對此，林家琪僅傳簡訊回應：「謝謝關心。」
